Safe Transitions is looking for a dependable and positive role model to work as a House Supervisor in an adult foster care home. Shifts available are varying and can include evenings, overnights and weekends.
The Supervisor provides direct services to clients in a manner that complies with corporation policies and procedures, government regulations, and client individual needs according to support plans. The Supervisor is directly responsible for the monitoring of client behaviors, program activities, and staff to assure the safety and well being of each client. The Supervisor is responsible for delivering the highest quality services possible through the duties listed in this job description. Assist clients with medication supervision, personal care needs: bathing, elimination needs, transferring, dressing/undressing, grooming and ambulation together with any household tasks (e.g., making bed, changing linens, laundry, preparing meals, housekeeping, etc.) essential to the client's health in accordance with the Waiver Care Plan, doctor's orders and the client's Individual Treatment Plan.
Valid driver's license, high school diploma or equivalency, experience working with adults with mental illness preferred, and successful completion of the corporation new employee checklist and trainings, state and county background clearance. You may be required to drive your own vehicle if a company vehicle is not available.
